SYDNI TOWNSEND

Sydni Townsend is a graduate student at the University of Houston.
She currently lives in Houston and is studying Sociology in pursuit of a masters degree. Sydni is on track to graduate in May of 2025.
Sydni is on the Track & Field Team where she competes in her primary race, the 400 hurdles. She became Houston’s fourth woman to earn All-American honors in the 400 hurdles and the first top 16 finish in 32 years. She posted the second-fastest 400 meter dash in the school's history (53.34). She finished second overall in the 400 hurdles at the American Championships.
