Walter J Denson
Director of Operatons
Walter J Denson is the Owner and CEO of Evolution Media Group Hawaii.
He has a vast and stellar background including time spent as a Diplomat with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), where he managed all aspects of operations for over 150 US Embassy Defense Attache Offices (DAO) around the world. He is a 10 year combat veteran spanning across Africa and the Middle East. While serving in the military, he had the opportunity to work with many Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) around the world rebuilding schools and homes devastated by Cyclone Sidr and hurricane Katrina; coordinated emergency evacuations of personnel out of Africa during Arab Spring; and provide humanitarian aid and food distributions relief throughout Africa, Asia, and Middle East. Walter retired from the US Army after 26 years.
Walter has a background in film and photography. He has served as a combat photographer and unit historian, and worked as a portrait photographer for ambassadors throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa. In 2016, he retired from the military and enrolled in college the same year.
Walter earned his Bachelor's of Art (B.A.) in Creative Media from the University of Hawaii West Oahu, and is currently seeking his Master’s certification in Photography. He is currently working on projects for the Leeward CC Office of Student Life, OneStar Enterprises Golf Apparel, and Beyond Services Consulting Agency as a creative director, writer, freelance photographer, videographer, and editor.
Walter is married to Deloney P Denson. They have three children and three grandchildren. They currently live on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
As the Director of Operations, Walter works with and oversees the operational procedures across the company. He ensures that procedures are in place to assist each director to utilize their time more efficiently. He also reviews company documents to make inferences about factors like communication, productivity, marketing, research, and education. He is also the conduit to bring all issues to upper management for a quick resolution; thus improving company operations.
